Gender and breed

So I've learned very quickly on here that gender is hard to determine at a young age. I was told she was possibly a cochin but I'm not super fimilar with that breed. She is currently a little over 2 weeks old. I was questioning her comb development and is that the start of waddles? Do I maybe have a roo?

A bit young, but can you post a full body side view of the chick standing in natural light?
Knowing where you got the chick is also helpful for determining breed.

I bought some fertile eggs from a local hatchery she told me it came from her brahma pen.

Well, too young to gender, but I can tell you this isn't a brahma... Wrong comb type.
Its possible its a cochin, its the right comb for that... how feathered are the legs and feet? I can't quite tell in that one pic.


ETA: Not a cochin either... wrong leg color.

Wrong comb type for a brahma. I am guessing this little one is a mix of some kind.

She doesnt have any feathers on her legs or feet. I will take a few more pics

Then you can rule out brahmas and cochins... since they both have feathered legs and feet.

She could be a mix.

I was wrong..sorry. I gave her a good look over and she does have a small amount of feathering on her legs
