What breed and gender? Was told female French black copper Moran. I do see some copper coming in on the neck.

What is the age of the bird? This will help with gender. If it is under 6 weeks the color/ waddle development is looking male.
As far as breed/color it appears to have a dilute meaning it is blue instead of black. I don't see any indication that it is not a Marans, but where did you get it. Any reason to believe it is not what you were told other than the dilute.

the legs are long in appearance (langshan check) ✅

the tail arch (langshan check)✅

leg color white/gray (langshan check)✅

Six weeks and they told me that it’s a French black copper. French black coppers super dark as babies.

Not sure who you are calling "they". Did you buy from a feed store or a breeder or a hatchery or??? And just recently or when this 6 week old was a tiny chick?

IF you bought it as a chick, I'd presume yours had dark blue down that was mistaken for black. Sometimes it is difficult to tell and that kind of mistake can happen. If you just got it, the seller clearly isn't a breeder and you have to presume they are ill informed. But it could still be a blue copper Marans.
