Hello all, ive posted about 2 weeks ago when my chicks were about 3 weeks old. Now that they are 5 weeks i think its easier to gender them.

First of all, TSC said they were supposed to be buff orpingtons and all hens (obviously not the case). My guess is two hens and two roosters.

A.I. identifies them as either old English bantams or welsummer chicks. Kind of a big difference between breeds.

Any guesses?

1 is likely a cockerel, 2 is definitely a cockerel, 3 is a pullet, the one on the right in the 4th photo is a pullet and the one on the left is also likely a pullet.

They aren't a Welsummer as they have yellow legs and Welsummers have white legs. I'm also doubtful on old english bantam as well. How big/tall are they right now?

132636 looks just like my brown leghorn pullets!

If they are OEG, I don't think they're bantams. Pictures can be deceiving, of course, but they look much bigger than mine. This is my OEGB pullet at 5 weeks. She's BB Red, but OEGs have so many different colors they could be.

The first is the largest. The angle doesn't make it look like it but he is. His legs are significantly thicker than the others. I did way him yesterday and he was 11 ounces. When I first got them chat said they were likely easter eggers

Yeah i have gotten different types from chat. Easter eggers, welsummers, and OEG.
