He really did look feminine! What does he look like now?
I actually do not have a photo of him in the "cockerel" stage! He just recently in the past 2 weeks start to look masculine, so I do not have photos! I will get one soon though, he is getting his male feathers currently, so definitely a male.

Edit: Nevermind! I found a video with him in it, so I got a screenshot. The second picture is his brother, who has tried crowing already. First picture is him, at 8-9 weeks I think, right before he got his male saddles. (not the best picture, but his comb is in view). @TheOddOneOut

Ooh, I'm quizzing myself. Was this the male I assume? I love guessing on birds that their gender is already known!

You caught him! He hatched a couple days after the first, so he was quite young. Also, he seemed to be the runt for a while...definitely looked feminine to me at least, got me in the first half. He is also in picture 1. Good guessing! 🎉

Update. They're now just over 5 weeks old. And #1 SLW looks male to me. And #2, #3 and #4 look female. Here are the two Wyandottes side by side. #1 on the left and #3 on the right.

And here are new photos of the other 2 chicks (just over 5 weeks). The barred rock and gold sex link. Do some still think the BR is male? I'm thinking a pullet.
