Gender for 8 week old Moss Egger

This is an 8 week old Moss Egger from Alchemist Farms. I think it is a cockerel due to the more prominent comb and feisty personality.

Yes, it is funny! The dark gray combs and wattles on two of my birds make it so hard to guess. My rooster lady comes tomorrow, but I might keep these and see what happens.

Melanistic birds are tough because you can't see the usual redness that shows up earlier in males of other breeds. But the comb isn't that large, and it has no wattles. I would keep it for now in case it is female.
