This wa last night and this morning when Peaches and her brood are first released to join the flock at 32 days old. 3 brown are Speckled Sussex. 3 black and white are SLW. The end part might have the best views. Have fun!

so adorable! I have one mature SLW but she was purchased at the age of being easily sexed. I’m not familiar with the two breeds I have here as far as chick sexing so I’m still waiting to see how many go to freezer camp.Cute video!
I appreciate the calm tolerance of your flock.
I'm enjoying my 3rd batch of chicks this year and should have the 4th in a week or so.
First batch on there own and their mom was taken by preditor but chicks doing ok . This was 6 eggs for 5 chicks.

Second batch (eggs from road side stand) their mom weaned them 2 weeks ago. Doing good. The white chick, a rooster was born with only one wing!
Must be the genetics of their flock. I know they had 2 roosters a buff orphington and a silky. Also only got 4 chicks out of one dozen eggs. Not good.

I seems to have plenty of roosters I will have to process in fall.
