Gender guess 4 week Barnevelder

This is Ronnie, a silver double laced barnevelder. Purchased straight run from a local breeder. Any guess on gender? I know it’s early, but you know me I love guessing! Truthfully though, I’m on the fence with this one.

Too early to say for sure, but right now it has a rather large comb for its point in development, so could be a cockerel.

It’s still a baby, but probably a cockerel.

Updated photos of Ronnie now 5 weeks. Still won’t say definitively but the pink in those waddles screams cockerel to me.

Almost 6 weeks. In the first pic, the lighting makes the comb look more pink than it is. While the wattles are red, the comb is still pretty yellow. Comb also hasn’t grown much in the last few weeks. It’s probably wishful thinking, but im still Ronnie turns out to be a girl!
