Gender guess

This is Dink my 8 week old black Wyandotte, I was told female but not 100% sure now. I’m still leaning how to tell Roos and hens apart at this age but sometimes it’s really hard and my books are very confusing.

That’s a single combed bird. Has nothing to do with the OPs bird.

Here’s an 8 week old cockerel. He has a pea comb and looks nothing like yours. Doesn’t mean he’s officially a pullet.

I figured because out of all mine outside he is the only one with waddles, also got him from tsc out of the Wyandotte bindi I went with the breed lol
