Gender guessing Wyandotte and Cochin bantam chicks (4 weeks)

That's exciting, I don't really mind i just expected them to be all black as the parents are supposed to be black. Can they carry other colours? Or are the parents then different not the black ones? Maybe I need to ask the breeder
I'd ask the breeder. Then you'll know for sure.

The breeder sent a picture, saying it took her 2 years to get the colour:

The wyandotte is growing up and getting sassier by the day, today this little one had already picked up on mamas behaviour and found it appropriate to chase off one of the barnevelder ladies

The wyandotte is still the most shy (towards humans at least), and doesn't really want to sit on my hand, but is very active and curious and likes to chase flies. Maybe it's also just the breed, or the fact that it came out latest. The black cochin seems to be the bravest, always closely followed by the chocolate.

This one is getting more confident every day, and is by now going the most far away from mama hen, mostly to chase flies :p

They are growing day by day!

Look I'm getting more feathers on the feet! (I'm quite confident this is one is a pullet)

This one is getting more confident and explores the furthest away from mama hen. I've also seen it chest bumping and competing a little with the black chick, super cute! Nice to see that the most shy one is getting comfortable as well!
