Gender help if it can be done

Hey all I have a what I believe to be a bantam Partridge cochin I got for a rand banty bin. Is there a way to tell the sex? Thank you everyone. Oh also. Is there a way to sex black australorp as chicks?

The best way is to wait a few weeks and examine comb/wattle development, color, ect.. Takes patience, but it's worth it.

It does look to be a Partridge Cochin. With the Partridge pattern is easier to sex when they are young, when the chest feathers come in. Pullets are light colored and patterned. And cockerels are solid black breasted.

Yes, Austrolorps can be sexed as chicks. Post pics of their combs at 7-8 weeks, because they are a little slower developing.m
