Gender help needed for Mottled Houdans (pics)

Sorry the pics arent really clear. They are a bit skittish and the wire kept getting in the way. These are my only 2 out of the 25 or so chicks I got from the hatchery. I am hoping it is a pair but I doubt I was that lucky.

So what do you think?

I think they're both girls. Neither one has the crazy punk rock hairdo that a cockerel would have.

I am not sure. I see one that is definitely a girl and one that I *think* may be a cockerel. But it doesn't have a wild enough crest to say for sure.

I say both girls, houdans get the same puff as polish.
also just to make sure they do have 5 toes each right?

I think it looks like a pair. Even though the one doesn't have the crazy crest associated with the breed, you can definately still tell the difference in them.

Anyone else have any thoughts about gender? No crowing or egg laying. I am still not sure.
