Yep. 1 & 5 are Roos. I have several rirs and the girls are 16 weeks. Their combs and wattles are just now starting to darken. The Roos started at 8 weeks. I had to rehome one. They got along just fine and neither had crowed, but I don't need two Roos! Your birds are lovely and appear to have beautiful feathering. Your dd is cute too! Looks like she likes the birds as much as mine does! I think my kids would live out in the coops with the chickens if they could! He k, if my dh keeps adding to them, I might want to too!

I agree. 1 &5 are roos and 2,3,4 are pullets.

I have 2 large RIR's that I believe are roos. They have very long pointy saddle feathers. They are huge and they HONK like a goose. They are very sweet and baby-ish yet so it's hard to get rid of them. I'll wait until I'm positive that they are roosters before they go. They are only 18 weeks old.
