Is there no way to keep both(assuming they dont get to mean)? I hate getting rid of animals. My neighbor wants to wait to see how it goes and said he would get rid of them if he needs to.

The problem with keeping both is your hens will be overbred, and their backs will get bare. Your hen to rooster ratio isn't too great.

Unless you are planning to invest in at least 5 more hens..... the ratio I hear most often here is 1:6... so maybe another 7 hens

... then I would definitely rehome one of the roos. You can keep them until they grow bigger and you decide which one has the better personality for the girls liking

But then do something with the other gent.... rehome or make chicken n' dumplings

Keep the hens penned up most of the time and leave the boys outside on bug patrol.
