I have a black star x partridge cochin that I need help with. it's crossed so I know that the mother's sex-link coloring doesn't mean that it's female but I would think that it would have a lot more by now. He/she hatched the end of june so it's about 2 months old.

That much comb at this age means it's a cockerel.

The momma likely is extended black, which means pretty much all her babies are going to be black. He may develop some reddish leakage on the wings as he matures, or he may not.
