This chicken is about 11 weeks old. It was sold as a red star at fleet farm who gets their chicks from hoovers. Their red stars are more red and black then red and white based on their website. https://hoovershatchery.com/Red-Star
this chicken looks similar to their website. It doesn't have waddles or comb like a rooster may have at this stage. But their tail feathers are throwing me off. Have a hook to them. But not sure if it only looks this way due to them growing in right now. Now a red star is a sex link so a rooster should be mostly white if that breed. So if it's a roo it would be a rir I believe. They aren't a big chicken as well and smaller than the rustic rock we bought same day who is an obvious pullet. Thoughts.
