Gender Identity Crisis at 7 Weeks **LOTS 'O PIX**

curious why you say they are all roos.?? I have 3 wys in my garage right now, they look like this. they are round and fluffy.

Not much help as I am a greenhorn too, but I have a gold laced wy cockerel (6.5 wk) and it's comb was blood red at about 4-5 weeks. And I mean bright vivid red.

Yikes! This is making me think I have a couple of boys!

My GLW have red combs, but I have been told that can happen with pullets - it's all relative.

not trying to hijack, but, this post has got me worried, as to me, 3 of them look like pullets for sure. ?????

I have read plenty about wyandottes in particular pinking-up earlier than other breeds, even the pullets. I'm not sure that based on what I have read, I would make the judgement call quite yet!

I'm a greenhorn as well so I can't say this with any kind of accuracy... however, I do have 6 BLRWs who are 7 weeks old and this is what other BYCers tell me are my roos... HUGE difference from yours! Based on this, I would say you have ALL girls!
