It's pretty non-existant.

LAG, you even think the BOs are pullets? I sure hope you're right...I always heard BOs are supposed to be calm and sweet. I must have hatched the Devil's BOs!!!

I stick with my original
1 & 2 are pullets and 3 is a cockeral on the EE's

trust me, I have hatched LOTs of pea combs.......haven't gotten them wrong yet.....

klf, I just went and compared the 3 EE's, I think you may be right. #3's comb is starting to turn pink too...the other two still have yellow ones.

If you look close you can see his is much wider with 3 distinct rows while the other 2 have nice small, narrow combs...

eta-my araucana and ameraucana pullets don't get red combs until at least 5 months

I think there are exceptions to the wider 3 row pea combs belonging to the male EEs. I have 3 EEs and one of them had the wider 3-row comb while the other two had the single pea combs and I had wondered if it was a cockerel. Even though its not laying yet, I still think she's a pullet/hen.

This is Pippin, the one with the wider comb, at 7-8 weeks of age:

Cleopatra, smaller single pea comb, 7-8 weeks of age:

Both chickens at 7-8 weeks of age: Pippin (3-row) in the back standing up - Cleopatra at far left -- notice the big difference in feather coloring - Pippin's much more solid and Cleopatra has a lot of brown feathering. That was another reason I had thought that Pippin might be a cockerel.

Pippin today at 19-20 weeks (not laying yet, but she looks like a hen to me):

Cleopatra today: Notice how much closer their coloring is now than when they were little - I was really surprised to see how much they look alike after getting their adult feathers.
