Gender of these silkies? EXPERTS, I NEED HELP PLEASE lol

First one is a rooster. The second one is a hen, but it looks more like a SilkiexEE cross. That or the hen just has no crest.

They both look girly to me, but it's hard to guess without knowing age etc. Maybe some silkie experts will chime in - I'm NOT one, lol. Not much comb on either of them.

We were thinking females too.
THey are less than 6 mos. Around 4-5 mo.
They are getting in their new feathers now

She said that the crest is gonna come in soon. They are getting in thier adult feathers...

I think both are pullets. The first one should probably have more waddles to be a male and it looks like a EE silkie for sure.

UGH! Great, another good offer to put down... and they were free!!! But gotta go together...

First is probably male and will have a pretty small crest/tassle. Second is probably female and will probably not have a crest at all.

Both are very pet quality, so don't plan on exhibiting or selling hatching eggs. But they should make great broodies and yard candy.
