There is nothing to indicate EE in either. Since they have silkie feathering, any crossing was probably generations ago.

I have to agree I believe bell is a roo and bella is a hen. but bella doesn't look like a pure silkie I agree that she looks mixed.

Bell is a male and Bella is a female. And their crests won't be getting any bigger. If big puffy crests are important to you, you may want to look elsewhere, perhaps a reputable silkie breeder in your area.
