The “abababa” sound from the Sebastopol sounds like my Buff girl.
But I’ve never heard my African girl make that tire-screeching sound before, omg! That’s the Chinese?? I want to say that’s a male sound, but I do also think their appearance is a bit female-like.

All I can do for now is wait for an egg? Also if so when do you think they’ll lay if one of them is a girl

Hello so I have one white Chinese and one sebastapol now I think these might be two boys there both 8 months old can anyone tell from pictures what they are also sorry there so dirty

Just a side comment on the seb cross, they do look like a she from my current group of girls I have. Though I will say it's always tough to tell. I had a DNA sexed "boy", and last month needless to say he is definitely not a boy lol.

Chinese gives me girl just because of the knob.

Laying wise I'm in upstate NY and everyone seems to be kicking in gear. The breeders in MI for sebs have already seen eggs because of the shift in weather. So you should see them anytime if they are in fact hens.

It's a little tough on sebbies in general. One of my hens looks exactly like a gander would (posture/noise/personality). She is in fact just a really dominate hen lol.

But yeah you'll know when you know or if you know how to digitally/manually sex them is the only other way to confirm outside of mating/egg laying.
