Thanks y'all. That's exactly what I was thinking ever since I got them bc the two in front are much larger. I know that's not reason alone but I just had a feeling I was right. I think the lady who gave them to me may trade me a rooster for a hen but I'm not totally sure. Is having 2 roosters bad other than not having more than one hen to lay eggs?
you will need to get more girls by far at least 11 more without more they may fight over the one and either kill one another or they may kill the pullet
Sometimes you can run two roosters together but they need lots of space to get away from each other. A tractor will not work with two roosters.
Also, there needs to be a lot of hens for the boys. I would wait a couple of months and keep the roo with the best personality. You should have no trouble getting rid of the extra BCM cockerel on craigslist. In the meantime, get yourself some pullets. They don't need to be BCM pullets. You could get easter eggger or ameracauna pullets. If you decided to breed and hatch chicks in a year, you could use the BCM rooster and make olive eggers from the easter eggers / ameracaunas.
In the meantime, your egg basket would be multi colored!
