Gender reveal

Hello, all!! Its been a while since I posted, so I thought I should update yall! Both ducks have transitioned to being fulltime outdoor ducks (the cotton is finally gone) and they are HUGE, happy, and thriving. So, what are the genders??? Basil seems to be male! Charlie, on the other hand...... well, surprise! I have no clue! I posted pictures of each. Basil is the white layer, charlie is the rouen. Enjoy looking at my beauties, and any thoughts on gender would be appreciated.

Note: these ducks have a huge run, but at the time of the pictures, were placed on the driveway so that the yard could be mowed and the weedwhacking could be done around the run. They rarely are on the driveway. Please no mean comments!)

Thank you. I upset some people by keeping them indoors due to a cottonwood "snow" that caused issues. I had a few people who were "concerned"

Most of us def understood why you kept them in for their health and safety. They are beautiful ducks one has the drake feather the other doesn’t? Is the one without quacking loud?

The one with the drake feather isnt quacking loudly. Charlie, the one without is LOUD. It almost sounds like a goose honk. Lol

Oh goodness!!!! I barely survived getting these two grown. Lol miss Lydia, you're gonna have to teach me how to introduce ducks to one another!!

Okay you get to females and we’ll talk. But you def don’t want your drake to over mate and abuse your lone female and most likely he will. Those hormones are wild. So 3 females to one drake should take care of it.
