Gender... Rooster of Hen, that is the question??

Good morning!

I have 4 Light Sussex hens. They are around 5 months old and am concerned that one of them may be a Rooster. After reading lots of posts and looking at photos I'm even more suspicious that Harriet may be a Harry. Im just going off the black feathers around her neck. This chooky has much darker and longer black lace than the other 3. Although her comb isnt very big yet.

Tell me what you think?

Looks like a pullet to me - hope so.,

At five months the comb and wattles would be huge, that's a very nice looking pullet.

Thank you both so much for your replies. You have given me hope that she is in fact a girl I would hate to have to give Harriet up if she is a Rooster (I live in the suburbs) She's quite a sweet little bird

For 'oldhenlikesdogs', I couldnt agree more that chickens and dogs are healing to the soul!
