Can you get a picture of the tail, & saddle area? Cockerels usually have a distinctive tail shape, & feathers on the rear that begin over lapping the tips of the wings.

Streamers won't appear until around 4-6 months, depending on how fast the silkie is to mature. Each grow at different rates.
