So - I have one chicken who is about 6 weeks old.. any ideas of its gender yet?

I guess a picture or two might help.

Picture's kind of dark but from what I can see, looks pullet? Comb looks pinkish, tail is short, wings look rounded but the neck feathers along the back is possible streamers? Can we get a brighter, up close pic? Love guessing :)

Pretty color!
No hint of wattles either, so not an obvious cockerel at this point. What breed is it? Matters because something like a beardless Ameraucana cross won't get wattles, so you can't use it as an indicator. Knowing comb type helps too.

it is a mixed breed of sorts.. some Aracana I think, as it came from a blue egg. I got the eggs of a friend as I had a clucky hen.

Araucana traits can make it harder to sex. Does it have a pea comb? A pale comb is good if you're hoping for a pullet.
It's too young to have sexually dimorphic feathers yet.

I will post another pic in a week or so - if/when I can get a decent one - sneeky little sucker is hard to photograph. Thanks for all the comments, heres fingers crossed to a pullet :)
