I got 3 while leghorns from tractor supply and was told they were pullets. They are now about 4 or 4.5 months old. They haven’t laid yet but this one is looking and acting like a rooster. What do you guys think?

Hi there! When you say acting can you be more specific?
She seems to act more in charge of the other 2, and she’s louder. Not crowing just louder. We have 3 isa browns that are 3 weeks older which are at the top of the pecking order but out of her 3 she acts more in charge. I just got my first rooster yesterday so I’m not really sure how they act.

I have a rhode island red that is VERY- "I'M KING"ish. Ifd they told you that she was a pullet then they probably were right. Is she larger than the others?

I don't know how much you are familiar with cows but there is always a lead cow(this gos for horses too), I can imagine and almost guarantee that she is the lead hen. My rhode island red is also VERY loud. I thought that she was a rooster but it turns out that she isn't. Hope this helps!
