My three khaki Campbells are only 5 weeks old but i can’t wait any longer to find out their genders. Anyone have any idea? Probably too early to tell.

Your ducks look lovely - i've always worked it out from tail feathers before voices.

I am a fan of the stripes. Regardless of whether they are pure KC or not, they are beautiful birds !

Did you know a Khaki Campbell is basically a cross with a Runner, a Rouen, and a Mallard? So sometimes the eye stripes can come though with breeding.

When we crossed our KC with a Buff Orpington, their offspring (the bufflings) have stripy faces (neither parents do).

They also have hugely confident personalities !

i’ve never seen one like that before this lol, my boy who passed was a khaki/rouen mix though and he didn’t have the eye stripe

I am home next week so will get some up to date ones for you - the looker is called Oddjob (we named a round after Bond villiains. The second round of Bufflings was Star Wars characters.

I can confirm that Princess Leah likes squaring up to boys and eating spinach !
