Gender?

I have a 4 week old Rhode Island Red chick and I was wondering I anyone could tell me whether its a hen or a roo

A little young to tell, but I think it's a girl. But I'm not sure. It will be easier to tell in another couple of weeks.

I have a 5 week old rhode island red that has a smaller comb than yours does, so I am going to guess roo, but its hard to tell at this age

A little too early to tell, but keep an eye on the comb/wattles for redness.
Do the toe punch marks signify anything or were they just an identifier?

Ok I guess I will have to wait a bit longer ... the suspense is killing me

lol! The toe punches were done by the breeder so he could tell who the sire of the chick was.

Ok it has been about two weeks since I posted the original pictures. I got some new ones today and I was wondering if you guys could take another crack at guessing his/her gender. S/he is about 6 weeks old now ... Im thinking pullet.

I'm leaning towards pullet, but I could be wrong.

Ok S/he is 8 weeks now and I am still leaning towards pullet ... what do you guys think?
