Hello Folks,
I'm trying bantams for the first time this year and I know I'm suppose to wait for a crow/egg to determine the sex, but I'm impatient

I love looking through everyones pictures on here and have picked up quite a bit of info from these posts, but I thought it would be fun to play the gender game w/ my pics! My bantams are about 7-8 weeks old. Any opinions/info is appreciated! Thanks!

These are my two cochin. I was thinking the bigger of the two to be a roo. Definitely has the personality! His comb is still fairly small and just a light pink/peach though.
Sorry, I mixed the pics up a bit, but there are more of these two below.

This is my d'Uccle. Really need it to be a hen!!! So in love w/ this one

I read that d'Uccle's develop their combs earlier on. If so, I would think this is a pullet, but other things make me think roo.

I was thinking my silkie is a roo. Comb seems large to me already.

This is the one above that I think is a roo. Sorry I don't have the best shot of the comb.

This is the one I think is a pullet. Much smaller then the other and comb has no pink in it yet.

Thanks everyone for you help!

I think your Cochins and D'uccle are all pullets. My Cochin cockerals usually have a big 'ol reddish comb by around 5 weeks. The Silkie? Good luck, those little suckers are hard to sex! They're the main breed I raise now, and I usually can't tell gender until they're somewhere around 4-6 MONTHS old. And sometimes they get me even then!
I LOVE those fluffy, white frizzles. They're adorable!

Thanks guys! I do love the frizzles too

Of course, I think I'm in love w/ all of my chickens

I've gotten all of my flocks from our local feed supply store. They do special orders and I'm not sure where they order from.
