These four babies are now almost 5 weeks. Nova gen/RIR I think I have an idea on genders but I need people who know better than me to confirm if I'm right

That's what we thought! And #5 is also extremely friendly towards us compared to the others he let's us pet him and will run right up to us. I have never had a single chick do that (without food for motivation) he is a rare one.I'm thinking the ones in pictures #5 and #6 are males.
Young cockerels can be like that and it can mean he may be aggressive in the future because he's not afraid of you. That's what we thought! Oh no... I hope..not. we have a toddler and any sign of aggression we will have to give him awayYoung cockerels can be like that and it can mean he may be aggressive in the future because he's not afraid of you.
It’s not a for sure sign, but it could be likely. Definitely be careful with your toddler, you sure don’t want an aggressive male.Oh no... I hope..not. we have a toddler and any sign of aggression we will have to give him away
You were absolutely right BTW. We got rid of him he ended up being HUGE. He continued to allow us to touch him. Well I tried to stop him from eating Styrofoam one day and he raised his neck feathers at me and kept pursuing me so we decided it was time for him to go before he got spurs and could really hurt us. To help prevent it try not letting him be so friendly and such. Show him you’re boss. Though not sure you’d want to “peck” him back or anything like that.
So sorry it didn't work out, but I'm glad you were able to give him away! Better being safe than sorry. You were absolutely right BTW. We got rid of him he ended up being HUGE.
