I'm [was] fairly confident this is a Black Sumatra (I did order from a hatchery), however, a friend of mine has had them for yearsss & they don't look like mine. He claims theyre pure & questioned if I got sent the wrong chick. This is my first ever flock, can someone confirm for me please?
On the gender - I ordered a sexed pullet, but the tail feathers has my husband adamant that *she's* actually a *he*. Cinco de Mayo hatch, so roughly 12 weeks!
