i recently saw an ad for lavender orpington and silver laced orpington birds from a breeder. she had been overstocked with chicks due to her not being able to sell during covid. i had always wanted these breeds of chicken and was glad i could find some for less than usual. due to covid i was unable to visit the facility and pick my own chicks. they were sold straight run and our flock is quite large but, we don’t want a million roosters. this is just a few, will be posting more later. they’re about 3-4 weeks old.

Chicks 1,5, and 6 look like cockerels. Update in another 3-4 weeks.

Lavender Orps are early combers.
Do appear to be at least a couple males in there though. Fresh photos in a few more weeks will help.
