General/Basic questions about raising Day-old Chicks. Opinion on situation much appreciated.

You could try craigslist to find some older chicks.

Please help?
-How much room do 50 chicks need?
-What is the ideal temperature range for them?
-And how old will they be, when we can put them in their coop? ( they will share a "yard" with our laying hens.....)
Any info would be greatly appreciated!
