Hello All.
I have a small question regarding Silkie Cockerel. If the genetics of a Silkie render the feathers to be absent of the barbs found in a 'normal' feather, how come Silkie Cockerels have the 'normal' feathers growing from the edge of the wing and tail? Is this trait only common in cross breeds? I'm just interested to know.
Also, if you could shed light on the best way to clip the wings of my Wyandotte then please feel free. It stands there contemplating the height of the fence...
