Hello everyone

So I'm a 1st time chicken owner. Raising them just for fun and eggs. I also got 2 ducks 1st time for those also. Anyway it looks as 2 of my chickens are roosters! Just my luck! I will get rid of one because I don't have enough hens for 2. However I plan on keeping my barred rock one. He's super sweet. But how does that work with the eggs when they get to that point? Do I assume all eggs are fertilized? Do I let the hens just sit on them? Do I not get to eat any of them? And what do I do with a bunch of new chicks when they hatch? As you can see I'm totally lost now that there is a rooster in the mix. And when do I open up the nesting boxes? Any info on you have would be wonderful, plus any info you think I should know! :) thanks everyone!
