This is tiger, about 2 months old now and is an indio gigante. Looks like it should be a rooster but tigers never crowed and doesn't act like any rooster I've ever seen or taken care of. For example he'll jump into the egg boxes with the hens and sit next to them. He never makes any noise, like none at all, he CAN, ive heard him make noise when distressed by being away from his friends but is just quiet the rest of the time. Any time i walk up to him he just lays down, doesnt look like a squat but will just lay down on his belly? Tiger will also sit in the egg boxes from time to time on his own. Is he a rooster? The feathers all say a rooster, but he acts as hen as every hen I've ever seen. Or just a strange hen? This is my first time having an indio. Any help would be excellent.

Yes, he's a cockerel (he won't be a rooster until he is a year old). The gentlemen will help the girls find a good spot to lay. I don't know anything about IGs, but I think he is very pretty!
