Here is my "Foundation Hen" for my single combed muffed project. I plan to have them in cuckoo'd colors. I crossed her to a game/BR and I have two muffed single combed chicks that I think will be cuckoo.

what do you start with? faverolles?

My hen is part Buff orpington and part Easter egger. Easter Eggers tend to throw single combs. I dont want to use faverolles because I dont want to fight feather legs. I bred her to this roo....

and I will keep a muffed roo from the chicks. They produced one muff roo and I think he is going to be buff cuckoo.
