Phoenix walked along a hallway, and frowned. Something was itching her back. She started to reach behind her to scratch, then froze. her eyes scrunched up. she screamed, doubling up. The pain in her back was like nothing she had ever felt before. She fell to the ground, writhing in agony and screaming. Some tiny part of her brain noticed that her scream sounded weird and hawklike, but that seemed unimportant compared to the searing pain in her back. Tears flooded from her eyes to the floor, forming a puddle beneath her. Her breath caught as the pain went up a notch.

Time to get really nerdy about Phoenix's powers.
when she gets her paragrine falcon wings, she gets the hollow bones that birds have (as well as the more efficient resperatory system.) Because of her new hollow bones, she weighs half of what she used to. (around 60 pounds.) therefore, 1000x her weight isn't as much as it would be for some.
However, i'll lower the number a little. she can pick up something up to 1141x her weight, but only for 5 minutes or less before she pretty much collapses. COMFORTABLY she can pick up 875X her weight. anything above that is really straining.

I'm not changing her sense of smell, though.
