I'm an idiot when it comes to this so I need some help.

What will the chicks from a Blue Marans hen with a Wheaten Marans rooster be colored like?

A lot depends on the genotype of the hen, what 'e' allele does she have,& is she silver or gold based?
Best guess is 50% each black & Blue, with maybe colour showing in the neck hackle

Any other thoughts? I've got 2 blue Marans hens but no blue roo so I'm thinking of putting them in with my wheatens Marans. They throw blue cuckoos with my cuckoo Marans roo.

Mate the Blue Cuckoo male back to the Blue hens, this will give you a mixture of Blue,Blue Cuckoo, Splash & Splash Cuckoo.
I presume you are after a Blue male, if so ,and you hatch enough chicks, this mating will give it to you,

My cuckoo roo is not blue.....I have only kept one of their blue cuckoo pullets. I'm not after a blue roo. I've had my cuckoos for 6+ years and am just going to continue to concentrate on them and my wheatens.

I was just wondering if anyone knew what I might get if I put them with my wheaten roo.

Thanks for your thoughts tho.

Just do it

F1 would be 50/50 black/blue with color bleeding through
