Okay, I'm thinking down the road, like a couple years from now...but I've been doing some reading on the genetics and trying to figure out what would I get if I did breed my pure BS male Morrison to my white silver pied hen (99.9% sure it's a she) who is currently a baby.

I know she has 2 copies of the White gene and 2 copies of the White eye gene. Am I correct in saying that the resulting offspring would all be split to white and have one copy of the white eye gene, making them look white-eye for the most part.

Am I correct in saying this?

The chicks would have one copy of each: black shoulder, white eye, pied OR white.

Birds with two copies of white are always solid white. Loud pieds have one copy pied one copy white.. that is why the chicks would inherit either white OR pied in this case.

See the other thread re: white feathers on split whites vs split pieds. If you do this breeding, you'd get to personally test out this idea.
