I getting ready to hatch birds soon... not in the bator yet....... but do i just add water and let them hatch ...how do I control the humidity..

I just went through a whole ordeal with my genesis and the humidity. The more water the higher the humidity. When I first started I filled one of the troughs all the way to the top and I was at 60%. I ended up taking almost all the water out leaving about a tablespoon in and the humidity went down between 30% and 40%. I would start out with a small amount of water and then work your way up until you reach the % that you want. This was my first time so I learned the hard way. I would also not set your eggs until you're familiar with the way it works. Also something I learned the hard way. Good Luck!!
