Gentle Pekin girl

After a series of unfortunate events we are down to one Pekin girl; we began with 3. Since one duck is not healthy we need to find a home or adopt another girl. She has been hand raised since she was 2 days old. Loved by little girls: carried, read to, swims, super awesome life. Would anyone know of a great home for her or have a sweet girl who needs a home?

Let me rephrase my above post. My duck is very healthy. I was referring to a duck being alone. Sorry about that!

I am so sorry about that! I don’t know what I was thinking!
We are in lake stevens, Washington.
mage is 5 1/2 months. Just started laying eggs!

I'd love to add another girl that age to my Pekins (age 21 weeks), but its impractical - you are 2,800 miles from me.

Hope you quickly find someone closer in a position to assist.

I'm close - Carnation, I'd love to pamper and adore her. I need to have less pet responsibilities, though. *Sigh*

Try our state thread, Craigslist, and Nextdoor. And since you are looking to potentially adopt a friend and keep her, consider looking at shelters for ducks in need of a forever home. I often see them on Petfinder. Then if you go to the rescue's website or call them they will sometimes have other birds that aren't listed.
