Georgia Giant wheezing, gurgling when breathing

Hi all, I came home from work to find one of my older hens which is about 1.5 years old sitting in her outside cage wheezing and had her mouth open and was gurgling. I have raised 100 or more of these birds and had no issues like this. Any ideas on what it could be and what I can do. I don't want it to spread to rest of my 20 adults. I do have chickens, but always tend to my quail first and my chickens are all healthy. Thanks for any help, Mac Well I went out to check on the birds before dark and the sick hen had died.

I would cull. I've found it difficult to vet quail and have good outcome. Or at least separate. You other birds however may already be infected as most diseases are viruses and carried through the air or through direct contact. How are your other birds doing?
