Georgia: Legalities of keeping laying muscovy ducks?

I keep seeing mentions of "controversy" regarding the keeping of muscovy ducks in the US, and have read some info from 2010 on regulations on keeping them only as a food source due to them being invasive.

I'm curious because in the future I'd like to have a muscovy and 2 runners. Would eggs be considered a "food source" from muscovies?

Any updated info or clarification on that law would be most appreciated.

Yes eggs would be considered a food source. Unless you plan to keep TONS of them I can't imagine that it would even come up.
