New to ducks- need advice

Hi.

I have been looking at the Omlet runs, good to know the tarps are good quality.

Yeah... look at the testimonies : you will be amazed...!

There is a badger that has been trying to get in my Omlet runs - including the Zippi ones - for several WEEKS now, and he just is not able to...!
(I am trying to catch him, but God is he smart!)

Honestly, for several reasons, I even have chosen to use the Omlet coops (all of them being connected to an Omlet run).
I use them for the chickens and the ducks, but also for the infirmary and for brooding and raising chicks/ducklings...

The coops are great : they are movable, easy to clean (I now do it by using Dish Soap), sturdy... and the birds love them.
(Honestly, the fact I don't have to burn my Omlet coops in case of red mites infestation greatly helped my decision to buy them : life is indeed expensive, and I prefer to plan on the long term so to NOT waste money...)

There are also a relatively lot of space - whatever people are telling...
...I have sometimes 16, 17 chickens that decide to sleep in only one Eglu Cube - even though they COULD use another coop if they wanted to...
(And : apart from 1 Appenzeller Spitzhauben hen and 2 Azur hens, my chickens are on the big side - several of them being purebred Brahma, including 1 rooster!)

(NOTE : The Eglu Classic and the Eglu Cube are a lot of sturdier than the Eglu Go.
I can't tell for the Eglu Pro, since it is much too exepensive for me to want to buy it...)

In case you would want to use an Eglu Cube for your ducks, here is how to do that :

(I am now using two Eglu Cube coops for my ducks, since I was happy with my first one...)

Good luck with your decision.

(Again : I am telling you what to do. Do think carefully about what you want, and what is best for you.)

Hi.

Sorry... forgot ONE word here...

Thanks for the info and the links,

Your are welcome.

they do look great quality.

They are.
Even the coops are actually sturdier than they look...

(But still : I recommend you to read other people's testomines. I am happy with Omlet runs and coops, but that does not mean everyone likes them too.)

I will check them all out

Even if you don't choose them, you at least know they exist.

Do choose what will work the best for you - taking into account the product quality, but also the money you accept to invest, AND what is the best for you in the long term.
