Glad you have had a chance too see a show over there. I grew up in the Netherlands, town called Venray also very close to Germany.
About the difference you noticed in judging. Funny I had just posted some differences about European and North American shows on another site, but ah who cares

Oh, thank you for telling us about this show... It takes next to no reason at all for us to want to go to Germany -- this would be a huge reason. How do I best track down information on next year's show?

Great pictures -- thanks a bunch. When I was first in Germany all I saw on the farms were various forms of leghorns. Do they have anything like a Cochin?

What a treat to see..I really like the way they set up that show, a no nonsence picture of what the bird is supposed to look probably from thier standard above the line up and by God they all look just like the picture dont they?

And I like the white background wall behind the birds so your focus is right on the bird , Thanks for sharing, its always fun to see how other people do shows . Wouldnt hurt my feelings how many pics you post, having so much fun looking at them.
