This is the first I am hearing about it, but the discovery was made five years ago. I do see in 2018 companies were still vying to create a machine to sell to hatcheries to determine gender on day 9. Does anyone know if this is in practice anywhere? It seems like the US hatcheries all still have an overwhelming amount of males being born. I would love to see this eventually scale down to backyarders too.
