german spitzhuban maybe acting aggressive?

My german rooster is acting a bit strange i went out to collect eggs and usually i pet everyone including roosters but today i wentvto pet him and he went at my hand and acted like he was gonna jump at me. hes never done that and they are all day olds i raised so whats up with him?

Whenever he does this, take him by the neck feathers and force his head down. Another thing to try is to carry him around as you do your outside work. I hope this helps!!!

I pick him up and ill sit there and pet him then when i put him down and pet his chest and neck he bites my hand again. hes never acted like this. could it be because hes been mating with hens

He's mature male livestock...not a good 'pet'.

Stop touching him and he may settle down.

Otherwise you may have to get rid of him or risk someone getting seriously injured, especially if you have small children around.

He jumped at my leg earlier and caught my pant leg with his beak. the other roo we have doesnt do this though so its weird
