Get rid of Doves

We have a Ring Neck Dove problem. There are about 20 of them that come around every morning to eat the chicken scratch and food and they don't leave until late afternoon. It's really getting ridiculous. How do you keep Doves/other wild birds out of your chicken area?

The easiest way would be to feed small amounts of feed, so there is none left for the birds to dine on. Or get a treadle feeder. Or put wire over all entrances to the coop. Or shoot the doves.

A treadle feeder will keep the feed safe - scratch and other treats is easily addressed by feeding in small amounts and only occasionally vs. having enough out that there is an attractant for the wild birds.
