Need advice about what to expect and what to have on hand?
Can they live in the coop or do they need smaller place?

Depends of what your weather is like and how secure your cooP is.

Possible to post a few pics of it?

Basically they need feed and clean water, protection from predators, a dry brooder, protection from breezes, good ventilation, and possibly a warm spot to go to. That last depends on your weather, especially your low temperatures. Ventilation up high is usually an easy way to give good ventilation but also good breeze protection where they are.

As long as you can provide that, whether in your house, in an outbuilding like a garage, or in the coop, they should be fine.

Protection, protection , protection.
Even itty bitty tiny holes in a coop can "let" the bad things get in to feed....be it on your chickens or their feed.

X 2 - with the caveat that in addition to the supplemental heat depending on your climate it will also be a matter of how they have been brooded to this point because if they have been brooded kept at a very warm temperature they will be less equipped to transition to potentially little/no heat immediately, if they have been managed with less dependence on the supplemental heat they will have feathered out more quickly and will be better able to transition to potentially little/no supplemental heat. Once you actually have them you can better assess how well feathered they are, or post photos here if you aren't sure what you are looking at/for.

What is your coop like? Is there the potential to use electricity in the coop if they still need a little heat?
